MAKE SOME NOISE TOUR 2009

The brilliant idea of mixing an American blues rock musician with an Irish born, country loving musician came to life as Linda Storey and Mark Gilligan joined forces in Denver in May 2008.  Joining them in the studio to add his well-known steely lead guitar sound to Linda's "Make Some Noise" song came Firefall's, Jock Bartley.  Recorded in John Macy's, Grammy award winning studio, John Macy added his sought-after pedal steel guitar to Mark's song "The Lodger Inside of Me."

Linda with her band "The Linda & Jessica Storey Band" along with Jock Bartley will fly out to Amsterdam to begin their tour of the Netherlands in March.  They will be joining Mark's Band, "the John O God's" at the "Paradiso" in Amsterdam for their first stop on March 19, 2009.

 Also intriguing is the fact that Mark Gilligan, living in The Netherlands, would have had no reason to meet Linda Storey if he had not been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).  Searching for other musicians with MS lead him to Linda in 2005.  Though they are two musicians almost half way around the world from each other, they have a common cause and now a good friendship which drives them to join together and make a difference.

March 21 MS Pitch & Putt tournament Bussloo. we have organised 36 teams inc. many international companies like Coca Cola, Phillips etc to play 2x rounds texas scramble comp. inc. the Dutch national team who will try to beat the record. The will also be a golf pro giving lessons, a silent auction, & Live music from 12 noon |(inc. Noel Shannon, Paul Martin). I have the venue free for the evening to stage a show with Linda Band & ourselves. The venue owner is donating his time, staff & profits to the MS ass. of The Netherlands & a donation to CASE for MS.
